On 30rd of April 2015, UNIDO with funding from the Government of Austria and in partnership with the Centre for Research in Energy and Energy Conservation (CREEC) will be launching the REBIC project in Opit, Lalogi Sub County in Gulu district scheduled to take place from 9:00 am to 2:00pm on the site located at the NFCI office. The REBIC presents a Value addition chain to the community agro-produce such as maize and groundnuts which can be sold at a better price. The demonstration of Renewable Energy for productive use is paramount with a solar powered Business Information Centre and Gasifier technology running on maize cobs and other agricultural waste. This project will empower communities; boost the competitiveness of the Micro, Small and Medium (SMEs), the Private sector and the economy. Save the date……
