We are pleased to announce that the Centre for Research in Energy and Energy Conservation (CREEC) will co-host the upcoming Trans Africa Investment Summit, scheduled to take place from 5–7 November 2025 in Kampala, Uganda.

This partnership is a continuation of the vibrant collaboration that began after the 2024 Summit. Through a series of post-summit engagements with WEFA USA, Pilot International, and WEFA, discussions around innovation, research exchange, and guest lecturing laid the groundwork for a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in late 2024.

As co-host, CREEC will:

• Showcase pioneering innovations from our ecosystem of students, academia, and early-stage entrepreneurs
• Chair and moderate key sessions aligned with energy access, sustainability, and African-led innovation
• Contribute expert speakers to panels that shape the future of energy, climate resilience, and inclusive investment
• Provide visibility to local talent on a global platform

This summit presents a powerful opportunity to amplify African-led solutions, foster meaningful dialogue, and strengthen partnerships that advance sustainable development and climate-smart investments across the continent.
