Solar Forum Uganda
Despite the steady growth of the Ugandan solar market, several barriers prevent this development to its full potential. The solar market is characterized by numerous players guided by various interests. Despite the different interests, the individual actors are strongly dependent on each other. By enhancing the understanding for and intensifying the cooperation with other market participants, many barriers can be removed.
By establishing the “Solar Forum Uganda” CREEC wants to link up the different actors of the Ugandan solar market to channel interests and enable continuous dialogue. The Solar Forum Uganda will be held biannually, dealing with selected topics challenging the solar market. Beside an expert presentation and moderated discussions there will be space for interaction and networking.
The first Solar Forum Uganda will be held on Friday the 14th of march at CREEC`s testing centre from 2 pm to 5 pm.
This forum will be held under the motto
“Relevance of solar products quality – quality makes business?”
Participants from the private sector, governmental organisations, development aid agencies and others are expected.
